TIME SHIFT DRAMA WORKSHOPS

In 2022, Forged by Fire ran a series of historical 'Time Shift Drama' workshops with Key Stage 3 and 4 (years 8-10) students at Beckfoot Upper Heaton School (Bradford) and Hurworth School (Darlington). Drama techniques and story-telling are a fun and creative way in which students can learn historical content and drama techniques, develop transferable skills and build confidence.

The workshop is organised into four parts, each designed to last for half-a-day. Each session has a Power-Point file, containing ice-breaker activities, drama games and role-playing, discussion questions and quizzes (with answers - a good way of keeping tabs on student engagement). Accompanying resources are in the resource booklet.
